Cascade Swimming Pool (1969)

No titles. All-year-round use of swimming pool. Nottingham. General view of fairly large house; pan to swimming pool in the grounds, covered by a plastic marquee that looks a bit like a greenhouse. The cover is called an ’Aquadome’. Mrs Pearson and her daughter Nicola stand on a frozen pond near the pool then join a group of children and women who are on their way to the swimming pool. Exterior view of the Aquadome and pool, with people seen inside. M/S of Mrs Pearson and the children entering the pool area in their coats. Several shots of women and children in swimsuits, playing in the pool and sitting on lilos. Mrs Pearson takes off her coat to show she has just a swimsuit on underneath. The end of the Aquadome is open to the garden and we see two women and three men sitting around a table there, wearing coats and obviously feeling the cold!
