A Review Of ’Fountainhead of Jihad The Haqqani Nexus, 1973 2012’

This is a book review of the book which was authored by Don Rassler, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Sciences and Director of Strategic Initiatives at the Combating Terrorism Center (CTC). The book centers on Jalaluddin Haqqani and his group, the Haqqani Network. I found this to be the best text on the Haqqani organization i have ever come across and it would provide invaluable insight into the volatile nexus which became in sync with both the Pakistan Inter Services Intelligence and Jihadist groups like Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Al Qaeda.
