Sourdough starter, simple step-by-step recipe. Your first sourdough bread!

It’s wonderful not to depend on stores! If you make bread this way, you won’t have to buy yeast from the store! And it has many pluses: 1. It’s healthy! 2. Does not contain added sugars! 3. It tastes amazing! 4. It has a long-term fermentation, which makes it easier to digest! 5. It is simply magical! Don’t be afraid to try! It does not require many utensils, it is enough to have a cauldron or a clay pot or even a glass tray with a lid! Once you have made this starter, be sure that it is for the rest of your life! INGREDIENTS for the starter 1/4 cup of drinking water (at room temperature) 1/4 cup white flour for bread INGREDIENTS for the first bread 300 g of starter (1.1/4 cup) 300 ml of drinking water (1.1/4 cup) 500 g of flour (4 cups) 2 teaspoons of salt *Tips * You will definitely notice that on day 3, an unpleasant smell will appear in your starter, don’t panic! Do not throw away! This is normal, good bacteria develop there, which will soon make your bread rise beautifully! * Right from the second day you will notice how the starter is full of bubbles! * if you forget to feed the starter one day, it’s nothing! continue the next day... don’t throw it away! * If you want to bake a loaf of bread, don’t forget to leave a reserve of starter for the next loaf! * If you want to bake more bread, increase the dose of starter (feed for 2 days and there will be more!) * If you don’t bake bread for 2 weeks, remember the starter in the fridge and add some flour and water! * This mother yeast is a living organism that feeds on the sugar in the flour, and once a week it would be good to feed it! * After a few months, you will reduce the dose of starter in your bread, because it will become strong enough to bake 3 loaves of 200 g of starter! ❗ Good luck and be sure that I am available to answer any question in the comments! ⭕❗ I’m not doing this for show! In the video I use the exact utensils that I always use at home! And everything you see in the video is real, in real time!
