Hippo runs around its enclosure chased by a zoo keeper. “Pa has one secret sorrow - he can’t get a whole meal into his mouth at once.“ C/U of hippo with its huge jaws opened, keeper stands beside him. Keeper throws in large piece of meat, then some greens, then some bread. “Like a good boy, he takes care of his teeth.“ Keeper brushes his teeth with a large broom, water is sprayed into his mouth. Hippo seems to like it. “Now for Ma - and little Bill.“ Female and baby hippo are seen.
