Cars on fire! Tesla records what can happen when you’re driving around with a tank of highly flammable fuel under your car. Tesla has long been the subject of media reports on electric car fires. Elon Musk once tweeted that Teslas—like most electric cars—are over 500% less likely to catch fire than combustion engine cars, adding that he wonders why this little fact never seems to be mentioned.
