This match is really great. It shows off all the ways that in it’s primitive stages, pro wrestling had the structure down pat. There’s a point here where Rikidozan takes a fall and after getting his arm raised immediately goes over to his corner and just sits down, exhausted. It stuck with me, as did a lot of this match, it gets pretty chaotic. Ortega wants Riki’s head!
