Ba Bu Lian (pronounced as Bа Bu Lien) is called also Papuren and Happoren. It is is the first classical taolu of Minghe-quan, the famous Calling Crane style, ancestor of karate. This simple and even archaic form, created by the legendary founder of Fang Qiniang, contains all the fundamental principle of White Crane and was a base for many other styles, appeared later in Fujian province and South China.
