Compressed Air Rotary Vane Engine

As part of my studies at the University of Warwick, I was tasked with designing and manufacturing a small power product. The design had to be powered through a compressed air inlet of 5 bar. Majority of the engine was made from aluminium due to the resources available to me. However, the vanes within the rotor were made of PTFE (Teflon) and they greatly reduced any losses within the product. I hope the video quality is enough to do this engine justice. It really did motor!
