Produced by Sid Davis Productions, “Roll Call Film: Hit and Run Investigation” is an informational film from the early 1970s that details the processes police officers take to investigate a hit and run crime. The film opens at the scene of a hit-and-run on a street corner in Pasadena, California and follows as officers from the Pasadena Police Department, through collected evidence and eyewitness accounts, close in on the perpetrator. This film features footage of various car models popular in the 1970s, typical 1970s fashion, residential streets around Pasadena and interior shots of the police department. Sidney Davis of Sid Davis Productions was an American director and producer who specialized in social guidance films.
