Bees Kill A Hornet With Heat

A yellow hornet (Vespa simillima xanthoptera) has made the mistake of landing on this net that surrounds our Japanese honey bees. They are now swarming it and in a matter of moments, the hornet is completely engulfed. The internal temp hits 46℃ (115°F), killing the hornet within 10 mins as it can’t withstand the heat.
