Classic 1970s Action Thriller I Hollywood Man (1976) I Retrospective

Financially strapped actor and director Rafe Stoker (played by Smith) finds himself reluctantly agreeing to stake nearly his entire personal fortune as collateral with dubious investors to ensure the completion of his action film. In a cunning move, they enlist the services of Harvey (portrayed by Girardin), an unpredictable biker, to disrupt the production, all with the aim of seizing Stoker’s assets. As tensions rise, Harvey and his gang unleash a series of increasingly violent acts against Stoker’s film crew and unsuspecting bystanders, while Stoker races against the clock to finish his film amid numerous production setbacks. Finally, upon completing the movie, Stoker and his girlfriend fall victim to hired thugs employed by his financial backers.
