REQUESTED BY KATHRYN HARMAN ____________________________ Simba = Nala’s brother, Mufasa/Sarabi son Nala = Simba’s sister, Mufasa/Sarabi daughter Zira = Kovu/Kiara/Vitani mother Scar = Kovu/Kiara/Vitani father Kovu = Kiara/Vitani brother, Scar/Zira son Kiara = Vitani/Kovu sister, Scar/Zira daughter Vitani = Kiara/Kovu sister, Scar/Zira daughter Mufasa = Simba/Nala father Sarabi = Simba/Nala mother ________ Mufasa and Sarabi have a son and daughter named Simba and Nala. Scar and Zira have a son and two daughters, Kovu, Vitani and Kiara. They live happily, or so it seems, in the pridelands together. All the cubs are best friends and spend all of their time together. However, their parents are bitter enemies for all the wrong reasons. One day when Sarabi and Scar are in a heated argument, Scar takes it to far and hits Sarabi, accidentally killing her. He is shocked at what he did, never finding himself a murderer, and he leaves the scene as soon as the family discovers the dead body. Mufasa, Nala and Simba are grief stricken as Simba goes to embrace her once more. The same night, the pride holds a funeral for her and they all mourn, everyone crying and sad. Mufasa plans that same night to leave the following morning, feeling that the pridelands hold to many memories. He takes his children and leaves without a much of a word. Kiara and Kovu try to catch up to say their goodbyes but get taken away by their parents. Time passes and Mufasa raises his children in a single parents act to be responsible, good hearted young adults. Eventually passing away not long after from a broken heart that had been aching too long. Scar passes away from unknown causes, leaving Zira to raise three cubs on her own. She unveils her evil, twisted nature and longing for power and trains her cubs to be relentless warriors, killing whoever is in their way. Kiara rejects it, Kovu is almost consumed by the darkness and Vitani is almost forever lost. Simba and Nala make their way back to the pridelands, hoping to rejoin the pride and find their old friends. Nala happens upon a watering hole and gets a drink. Kovu spots Nala, not realizing it’s her and plans to attack and kill the rogue lioness. But as soon as he is about to pounce, she looks at him with her eyes and his instantly is reminded of her. They almost immediately fall back into their lost love ( they had crushes on each other as cubs, so did Simba and Kiara ). Kiara is wandering through the pridelands one night, thinking of some hopeless thoughts when she bumps into Simba who was trying to retrace his steps to priderock. At first they don’t realize who each other is and Kiara apologizes, Simba apologizes too and they introduce themselves. Kiara catches on that it’s Simba and they talk for hours ( not shown ), she licks him on the cheek and the following few weeks are shown. Kiara and Simba and Nala and Kovu are mates. Vitani catches them and blabs to Zira about it. She rallies her pride to kill off Simba and Nala because she doesn’t want all the time she spent in raising up her cubs to be relentless killers with a want for power to go away. Her goal was to be the strongest pride in Africa and Simba and Nala are ruining it. She ambushes Simba and Nala one day when she sees them by themselves and tells them to leave. They don’t, so she calls to her lionesses ( who were hiding in wait ) and they attack them. They’re fighting and Kiara and Kovu see them from a distance. They race in to save them before it’s to late. Nala and Simba are ambushed in the gorge where Zira is about to strike a killing blow on Simba when Kiara jumps in her way and blocks it. Knocking her and Zira off the cliff. Zira clings for dear life as Kiara tries to save her mother, but she falls before she has the chance to reach and dies. Simba rescues Kiara, Nala and Kovu are reunited, Vitani and the pride stand down because Zira’s rule came to an end. And not-so-eagerly, are the rest of the pride banished while those loyal to Simba and them stay.
