Casablanca and Rabat, Morocco. Mr. Francis Lacoste, newly-appointed Resident General in Morocco, arriving in Casablanca on board the liner “Lyautey“. Being greeted by French officials in Morocco, Mr. Hutin, Mr. Franquenot and General Duval. Inspecting Guard of honour. Gets into open car and drives away. Arriving by car at Rabat, at the Pacha’s residence Oudata. Being greeted by Pacha St. Abbes Tazi, who makes the traditional date and milk offering as a token of friendship. After greeting ceremony Mr. Lacoste is introduced to Moroccan officials, and shaking hands with Moroccan veterans of both world wars. Mr. Lacoste visiting the Sultan in his Palace, Salutes the Cherifian flag, reviews Moroccan Guard of Honour, and then introduced to the Sultan.
