October (Love Song) by Chris & Cosey (1983), 40th Anniversary re-release.

40th Anniversary Re-release... remastered for YouTube 2023. October (Love Song) was Chris & Cosey’s first single and was originally released by Rough Trade Records in 1983. The music was recorded on 8-track at Chris & Cosey’s London home studio and the self-financed promo video was shot on rented U-matic video equipment (with assistance from John Lacey and Steve Pyke) at Butler’s Wharf, London. Editing and post-production was carried out at LVA (London Video Arts) co-operative in Soho. The audio remastering was on a digital copy of the original 7“ single master mix and the video remastering was completed on a digital transfer of the original U-matic master video tape.
