Philly: Free Julian Assange

Julian Assange’s father and brother, John and Gabriel Shipton, speak at the Free Speech Monument in Philadelphia at 2pm. They’ll discuss Julian - son, brother, peace advocate and publisher currently held in Belmarsh prison - as the U.S. appeals the “no extradition” verdict by the U.K. Julian’s father and brother are in Philadelphia during their “Home Run for Julian” tour of the United States: In addition to our co-hosts, his event is endorsed by the United National Antiwar Committee, the International Concerned Family and Friends of Mumia Abu-Jamal, Mobilization4Mumia, and Philly Boricuas.
