Scope Mounting - Fitting a Picatinny Rail to a Sako 85

In this short video, we go through the process of fitting a picatinny rail made by Contessa, Italy, to a Sako 85. This rail will also fit the other models of Sako using the tapered dovetail system such as the Sako 75 and older models. This is the Rear Extended for Night Vision picatinny rail in this video, a Standard Length picatinny rail is also available. Included with every rail: 1 x Rear Base (with 2 Screws) 1 x Front Base (with Sliding Block and 1 Screw) 1 x Picatinny Rail 1 x Wrench 1 x Spare Screw Fitting Instructions: 1. Fit the Rear Base to your Sako 75 or 85. Use a plastic hammer to tap the base on to the rifle from the rear. It will have a good friction hold already. Once the base is tight, you then tighten up the 2 grub screws on the base. This will lock the base in position and secure it fully. 2. Next, fit the Front Base to your Sako 75 or 85 in the same method. Tap on with a plastic hammer until it’s tight, then tighten up the 2 grub screws to secure it in
