Oxford Street Christmas Lights Switched on 2018

Tonight the Christmas lights on London’s Oxford Street were switched on. There is normally a huge party but not this year. The news this year has been filled with stories about many of the largest retailers on this street being in a financial crisis so I guess they can’t afford to pay for a party this year. The best looking store is Selfridges but the council have dug up the pavement in front of the windows making it difficult to stop and admire them.
