We Become We | Astarion & Dark Urge | Baldur’s Gate 3 Animatic

“As he leaves, you’re flooded with visions of a perfect pretty corpse.” I saw this song going around and I wanted to give my own personal twist to it! This one isn’t about one sided love, but about the way my Dark Urge sees love. The animation shows that no matter how much my Durge tries to be loving and sweet, he cannot stop the visions of abruptly popping up into his mind. The guy just hopes that one day he can look past his bloodthirsty impulses and can learn to love his partner in a healthy manner. I thought it would be very interesting to try and draw my take on this, since I don’t really often see something like this about the Dark Urge! If you guys are interested in more stuff like this, please do let me know :D Always love to hear your thoughts! By the way, the animation takes place at the graveyard in Act Three. (That moment specifically with Astarion, which happens right after you’ve unascended him).
