NASA Women’s History Month Profile – Katie Carr Kopsco (Stennis Space Center)

Katie Carr Kopsco is a native of Louisiana. She received her bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering with a minor in aviation from Louisiana Tech University in 2003 and her master of science degree in environmental engineering from the University of New Orleans in 2010. Carr Kopsco was hired by NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in 2006 to assist in the fabrication of the external fuel tank and close out of the Space Shuttle Program at the Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans, La.
