Why The U.S Confederacy Still Exists, but in Brazil

The U.S Confederacy is a nation that has been gone for over 150 years. But it is still alive in Brazil, in Americana and Santa Barbara d’Oeste. Why does this Brazilian town celebrate the U.S Confederacy? Why is there a festival called ’Festa Confederada’ that celebrates the U.S confederacy? Well, because after they lost the Civil War, tens of thousands of American Southerners fleed to a small town near Sao Paulo, back then called Villa Americana. They formed a community and years later this small village became what is now Americana. Some people from there have American blood and they say they just honor the U.S Confederate flag and that they have no racist ideal connected to it. This might be the last U.S Confederate Town In The Entire World. Please subscribe: Support me on Patreon: DISCLAIMER: This video was created for educational and historic purposes only.
