Mesmerising timelapse shows Bali volcano erupting

Bali’s Mount Agung erupted on Friday - leaving thick smoke and red lava visible in the night sky. The eruption lasted four minutes and 30 seconds and lava and rocks spread for three kilometres. No evacuation was necessary, said spokesman Sutopo Purwo Nugroho. Bali’s airport returned to normal operations on Saturday after some flights were cancelled following the eruption.
