Norman Evans (1938)

Note: Probably filmed in the Pathe studio. L/S and M/S of the comedian and entertainer Norman Evans standing next to a piano. He says “Ladies and gentlemen here is an introduction to a very young friend of mine we call ’Jacko’“ He produces ’Jacko from the inside of his jacket, he turns out to be a small puppet in the shape of a fluffy monkey. Evans then proceeds to smokes a cigarette and blow smoke which ’Jacko’ finds fascinating until Evans blows it in the puppet’s face which makes it sneeze. Evans makes ’Jacko’ shyly waves goodbye to the audience. Several shots of Evans playing the song ’Home Sweet Home’ in a comic style of a young boy and then a professional organist.
