XV Mariinsky International Piano Festival (Miroslav Kultyshev, Alexandre Kantorow, Seong-Jin Cho)

From 6 to 26 May the Concert Hall of the Mariinsky Theatre is hosting the second stage of the Mariinsky International Piano Festival. The 1st issue of the video diary of the festival features: - St Petersburg musician Miroslav Kultyshev, who performed with the Mariinsky orchestra Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini; - Grand Prix recipient of the 2019 Tchaikovsky Competition, Alexandre Kantorow, who presented Prokofiev’s Second Piano Concerto; - South Korean pianist Seong-Jin Cho, winner of the Chopin Competition and a prize-winner at the Tchaikovsky Competition, who has prepared a programme of works by Janáček, Szymanowski and Chopin for the opening of the second stage of the festival.
