David Popper - Etude No. 28 - Rabbani Aldangor
Furious, virtuoso passages and fantastic, sunny music of the great Hungarian cellist and composer David Popper cannot leave both professionals and just lovers of classical music indifferent. Popper’s Etude No. 28 is one of the most difficult in the cello repertoire, it is very useful for developing left-hand fluency, playing in high positions, and accuracy in hitting high repeating harmonics and octaves. You can call this etude - “a one minute etude“, indispensable in concerts, both encore and the beginning of the concert or competition program, maybe even graduation exam.
Rabbani is grateful for the inspiration to his friends and family, to his mentors: Pieter Wispelwey, Alexey Seleznev,
Zoya Kuznetsova, Alexander Rudin, Peter Gribanov, as well as to his colleages from musicaeterna orchestra and Teodor Currentzis.
