The Ancient Israel Program 2019

Macquarie University students in the Ancient Israel Program dug at the site of Khirbet el-Rai, Israel (identified as biblical Ziklag) together with Hebrew University. They uncovered monumental architecture and a wealth of finds. Here we demonstrate excavation techniques including an on-site chemistry lab. Learn more at
