DISTANT BASSES/ GURO MOE OSLO, NO & ADRIANA CAMACHO MEXICO CITY, MX

Distant Music / Distant basses is a project where one artist sends a recording and another artist intervenes it. In this case contrabassist Guro Moe sends a video of herself improvising in her home town Oslo, Norway and contrabassist Adriana Camacho in her hometown Mexico City, Mexico plays over Guro´s improvisation. The project´s idea is to generate synergy and creative forms from distance, As musicians, many of our collaborations were cancelled because of COVID19, this is a way to paliate distance and enclosure.
