Genre: Suspense, Thriller
A young boy will do anything, even murder, to get what he wants. The boy might be responsible for the death of a classmate at the military academy he attends, yet his mother (Diane Baker) refuses to believe that he could be guilty of anything. His stepfather (Ed Nelson) begins to wonder if the boy wants to get rid of him. Based on the chilling novel of the same name by Fielden Farrington, who also adapted the novel to a screenplay. The movie is well worth watching. When it aired in 1971, A Little Game drew high ratings for ABC. ABC followed the success of “A Little Game“ with another novel by Fielden Farrington, “The Stangers in 7A“ which aired the following season.
You may think the kid is great, but when you don’t take him to the toy store, he’s a killer.
