Lebanon: Beirut Immortal Regiment initiative honours defeat of Nazism

Hundreds of people took part in an Immortal Regiment march in Beirut, Sunday, in commemoration of the 71st anniversary of Soviet Victory over Nazi Germany. Participants marched from a Russian Orthodox church where a ceremony was held earlier in the day with a portrait of a relative or an unknown veteran of the war towards the Russian cultural centre, where a dance and song event was held pay tribute to the Soviet victims.
