Tying a Classic Salmon Fly (Durham Ranger) with Davie McPhail.

I know it’s not a good video but I thought you could get something from it as it’s a practice one that I had done to get a feel of how to film tying a classic style salmon fly. As you can see there’s a few mistakes, the main one is that I forgot to switch the camera on when I was filming the tying on of the blue hackle sorry... Durham Ranger Tag, Silver tinsel and Lemon yellow silk floss Tail, Golden Pheasant Crest and Indain Crow or Sub Butt, Dyed Black Ostrich Herl Ribs, Flat Silver Tinsel and Twist(Lace) Body,Lemon Floss, Orange, Fiery Brown, Black Seals Fur in equal sections. Body Hackle, Dyed Yellow Badger Throat Hackle, Light Blue Hen or Cock Wings,A pair of Jungle Cock feathers (back to back) cover three quarters of their length by 2 pairs of tippets (back to back) Sides, Jungle Cock Cheeks, Blue Chatterer or sub; a topping over (GP crest) Horns, Blue and yellow Macaw Head, Dyed black Ostrich herl
