Severe snowstorm hits Odesa causing damage in 9 locations around the Black Sea city - Ukraine

A severe snowstorm in Ukraine’s western port city of Odesa prompted warnings from police on Sunday, advising against travel in and out of the city. The storm severely affected travel, making the M-05 highway linking Odesa to Kyiv almost impassable and isolating the city from the Izmail district. Local reports indicated that fallen trees and debris caused damage in nine areas around Odesa, leading to the decision to shift school classes online on Monday.
