The Promise is a melodic rock (AOR) band from Aberdeen, Scotland. The band formed in 1985 as Tour de Force and was signed to Now & Then Productions in 1994. They released their eponymous first album as ’The Promise’ in 1995, followed by a second album ’Human Fire’ on Frontiers Records in May 1999. Silver Lights (N. Graham / I.
