Stop Bombing, Cease Fire!

SUBSCRIBE & ENABLE 🔔 The Boy Running in Paradise: This is the story of a Palestinian woman that I recently heard. A loud and frightening air strike was underway somewhere in Gaza. A mother was crying out, desperately calling for her son to come home and take shelter. She looked out and was so relieved to see him hurriedly running towards her arms. But in a split second, a jet plane suddenly soared over them and dropped a bomb, which directly hit the ground nearby, killing the boy instantly right in front of the mother’s eyes. Helpless, unable to raise a finger to save her son, the mother froze, watching the scene in horror. Heart broken, she just wept, raising her hands and asking God the Most Just and Kind, for patience to bear her loss. She repeated “inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioun“, We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return. The mother’s joyful young son had been torn away and vanished from her life; violently taken by this brutal and inhumane war upon millions of innocent people, as they struggle to survive the unfolding tragedy of a massive Israeli military invasion and occupation of their homeland. Tearfully, she informed her family and friends later what happened. She said, “The only thing I worry about, is that it hurt him - it looked so terrible.” That night, the woman went to sleep and she saw her son in her dream, in Jannah (Paradise). She asked him anxiously: “Ya mama. Oh, my beloved son, what happened to you? Are you okay? Did it hurt you?” The boy said, “I don’t know what happened to me, mummy. I was running towards you when you were calling out to me. I was running towards our house. And then suddenly I… I saw myself running in the garden. That’s it.” The Mother asked him, “Did you get hurt? Did it hurt you? “No. I just felt like a big pinch. It pinched me, and then I was running here, in Jannah.” FOLLOW Yusuf / Cat Stevens: Website: Merch: Newsletter: Facebook: Twitter: Instagram: LISTEN: Spotify: Apple: CHARITY: Peace Train is a charity initiative by the Yusuf Islam Foundation under the patronage of Yusuf / Cat Stevens with an emphasis on feeding programmes, solar water wells and peace building projects CHARITY STORE: Visit the official Yusuf / Cat Stevens Peace Train Store Profits from sales go to Yusuf’s charity projects worldwide. #CatStevens
