Israeli official on Gaza: Hamas uses civilians to defend their weapons | Conflict Zone

The death toll in both Gaza and Israel is continuing to mount as the Israeli military conducts airstrikes in an attempt to prevent militants from launching even more rockets against Israeli cities and towns. Most of the victims are civilians. Israel says it takes every precaution to prevent civilian casualties. Meanwhile within Israel and in East Jerusalem tensions have flared with Israel’s Arab minority. The violent confrontation between Israel and the Palestinians has gone into its second week, with concern mounting around the world at the high number of civilian deaths especially in Gaza. This week Tim Sebastian speaks with Michael Freeman, policy advisor to Israel’s Foreign Minister who joined from Jerusalem.
