Item title reads: “England’s Youngest Public School. H.M. the Queen lays foundation stone of Stowe College Chapel to cost of £40,000.“ Stowe, Buckinghamshire M/S as the official car makes its way into the grounds along an avenue of school boys. A man rides on the running board of the car, as it passes by. The boys doff their hats three times, raising and lowering them as if giving three cheers. The Queen gets out of the car and is greeted by a gentleman carrying a top hat and wearing spats. They walk up some steps. The Queen gives a few words as a group stand on parade in military uniform.
