Full title reads: “Now another famous singer for the Pathe Pictorials Trefor Jones, the well-known Tenor of . and Concert fame in ’Maire My Girl’ (at the piano Ivor Newton).“ M/S of Trefor and Ivor. As Trefor sings his song shots of picturesque countryside are intercut with shots of him singing. A woman walks alone through scenic countryside and admires the views of rivers and waterfalls. C/Us of her as she pensively plays with the ribbon of her hat and later C/U of her putting on her hat and tying the ribbon under her chin. Maire wears a rather old fashioned dress and hat. L/S of her walking towards a churchyard, she waves to someone unseen. I presume that Trefor is Welsh, it is possible that the countryside scene are of Wales.
