One Man Wall - A complete cover of Pink Floyd’s 1980 album The Wall - by The Lone Piper

“How Should I Complete The Wall?“ Sitting in a bunker, here in perfect isolation behind my COVID-19 wall, I decided to record The Wall by Pink Floyd. Four months later, this is my tribute to the album and the band. Studying the music and production techniques, I was able to learn enough to try to pull together a One-Man Wall from my basement (and garage for filming). I read hundreds of articles and watched dozens of videos, to understand the recording environment and production approach, along with the meaning being each track. I have tried to be faithful to the original production techniques, however some songs such as the heavily orchestrated “The Trial”, were more than just a little challenge in the midst of a global pandemic. For example, to differentiate between David Gilmour’s vocals and Roger Waters’, I used different mics (singing into the side for Roger’s vocals and into the front for David’s), recording levels, audio effects (reverb, delay, etc.), equalizer levels, limiting,
