Snare made from car rim

The new design for our reclaimed alloy wheel rim snares is successfully prototyped. Using cut out sections of old birch ply shells and some reclaimed oak, a wheel can become a 14“ snare drum with no drilling required, just like a free floating shell. It’s even able to be used as a wheel on a car again. Amazing tone, great, unique response, immense fun to play. Hats off to our master craftsman for pursuing this, and for the playing in the video.
