Amazing color in this 4.2 Ct Contra Luz Opal. Origin is unknown, but most likely either mexican or perhaps Oregon Contra Luz. This Contra Luz is not from our B.C. Opal Mine, although we do get Contra Luz there. The Stone was wet in the video. If the opal drys out it will turn white due to being a hydrophane opal, more information here on hydrophane opals.
