LIVE: Supreme Court to hear oral arguments in Yukos Russia case: court feed

Mandatory Credit: The Supreme Court of the Netherlands / Hoge Raad der Nederlanden The Supreme Court in The Hague is set to hear the oral arguments in the case of Yukos oil company former shareholders against Russia on Friday, February 5. The court ruled earlier in December that Yukos could claim 50 billion US dollars compensation from Russia pending the final ruling in the case, reinstating the initial decision made in 2014 by the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA). PCA ruled that oil giant Yukos was forced into bankruptcy by the Russia state, and had its shares sold to Russian state-own companies. Russia has denied the allegations.
