In this English lesson I will talk about Canada! The day I made this video was July 1st, and July 1st is Canada day! As many of you know, I am Canadian! Although my parents both came from Holland, I was born and raised in Canada. I am very proud of my country and I’m happy that I can make an English lesson for all of you so you can learn more about it as well! In this English lesson you will learn words and phrases like: maple tree, maple syrup, Tim Hortons, province, territory, democracy, capital, mounties, official languages, national sport, national anthem, toque, prime minister, canada goose, premier, Canada Dry, loonie, toonie, and many more. I would never claim that Canada is the best country in the world. You come from amazing countries as well! But, while I help you learn about my country and as I use words and phrases to describe it, I hope this English lesson helps you learn some new English words and phrases which you can use to talk about your own country!
