Standard-E vs. Standard-D - TUNING - SHOOUTOUT

The Gibson Les Paul Custom is in Standard E with a Seymour Duncan SH4 in the Bridge. The Epiphone is tuned to Standard D and also got a SH4 in the Bridge. Which tuning is the best?
