Melodic Death Metal vs Metalcore (Feat. Markus Vanhala of INSOMNIUM & OMNIUM GATHERUM)

This time around, I’m joined by Markus Vanhala of the bands Insomnium and Omnium Gatherum to trade some riffs and compare Melodic Death Metal to the Melodic variety of Metalcore (which is directly inspired by the 90’s Melodic Death Metal scene). I’ve been planning to do this video with Markus since December of last year, but him being such a busy person, it took a long time to get it done properly.
