8 Hours of Rain Sounds and Birdsong on a Karst lake

The sound of summer rain and the singing of forest birds on a lake in the highlands of the North Caucasus. This lake is part of a group of 4 karst lakes in Kabardino-Balkaria, called “Blue Lakes“. Like the rest, this lake is karst and is located at an altitude of 902 meters above sea level, and its depth in some places reaches several tens of meters. Surprising is the fact that the water level here is always constant, regardless of the amount of precipitation or the time of year. Because of the dense forest thickets hiding the lake, it was called “Secret“.
