BREAKING 😟 Class 68s withdrawn by TPE from December 2023 🪓

On Friday, August 25, Transpennine Express announced to staff that all 13 sets of five-car carriages hauled by Class 68 locomotives would be withdrawn in December 2023 when the timetable changes. The so-called Nova 3 sets had already been axed from routes in the South of TPE’s network and have been more regularly deployed on services to Scarborough.
