Yamaha RD 350 LC Crankshaft Part 2

Part 2 shows the inspection of the centre section to evaluate the condition of the inner main bearings and labyrinth seal area, in this case both middle shaft and seal are damaged and need replacing, as do the big end pins which means a complete centre section is reuired, the two outer webs are fine to be used again their threaded ends usable. In part 3 we will concentrate on rebuilding and truing the parts using industry standard tools and gauges and a bit of persuasion. Thanks for looking.
