General Changes Gameplay Changes: When picking up a quiver from the ground, every action fills the available amounts on currently equipped quivers first, instead of picking up the quiver directly. (Visual of the quiver is not being updated currently.) Audio Changes: New sounds for crossbow reload. New horse/camel footsteps for wooden surfaces. Revised impact, bash and broken sounds for wooden and metal shields. Minor mixing and distancing changes. Map Changes: Isle of Deriad: Added better barriers to impassable areas. Druimmor Forest: Removed from the Team Deathmatch map pool. User Interface Changes: Ping property in scoreboard updates more consistently. Server Changes: Server system infrastructure moved into Linux based OS. New autoscaling system checks existing games and opens new games based on statistics - Feedback needed. Improved game server hardware resource system. From now on game servers do not share hardware with other game servers anymore. (For instance, a captain mode game was sharing hardware with another skirmish mode game which was resulting in laggy/spiky experience.) Computation of retransmission timeout for lost network packets improved. Reduced latency especially in lossy network conditions. Retransmission timeout system added to the important data transmission system. Reduced the potential network bloat. Troop / Faction / Equipment Balancing General Changes: Equipment Perk Changes: Increased Arrow perk now gives 4 more ammunition. Equipment Balance Changes: Arrow count increased from 25 to 28. Bolt count increased from 20 to 24. The damage type of the Highland Mace is now blunt damage. Swing damage of the Highland Mace slightly decreased. Troop Balance Changes: Increased all ranged troop numbers in Captain mode by one. Bug Fixes Gameplay Fixes: Fixed the throwing weapons’ inaccuracy. Corrected rider fall direction when the mount is killed. Unusually long wait time on the first spawn in warmup fixed. User Interface Fixes: Fixed red bar values below player avatars in Multiplayer HUD. Performance Fixes: Fullscreen/Exclusive fullscreen, resize and multi-monitor problems are fixed. Invisible trees and trees without bodies are fixed. Known Issues There’s no occlusion for sounds behind walls. Changing “Sound Output” without restarting the game will crash the game eventually. Some troops are floating on top of their horses on the troop selection screen. If a player reconnects to the place of a player who disconnected, their name will be displayed as the disconnected player’s name. Dead horses on the floor sometimes stutter/get stuck in a loop. In dual monitor setups, switching between monitors while in fullscreen mode is not working. When a shield-wielding character performs a chamber attack, shield breaking audio cue is played. Throwing missiles’ trails bending on air. Will be fixed next patch. Shield bash impact sound is missing. Eyebrows are not rendered properly in Character Customization. Couch lance icon is not working properly. The first image on the new brightness screen is outdated. Footsteps on the Harbour of Ovsk map are not working properly.
