The story of Float is set against the backdrop of the homophobic climate in the Caribbean, a world where no LGBT stories are celebrated. Jonny is a young obsessive-compulsive white Bahamian artist who faces loosing his scholarship at a local University if he does not live up to the potential that his teachers believe he has. Inspired by this challenge and wanting to get away from homophobic bullies and his alcoholic father, Jonny chooses to escape for a weekend to the under-populated and dramatic Bahami
