About the song and the video: “Winternacht“ is about a snow-covered world where Eleonor walks lonely through the white void, with only the wind as her partner. She dreams of spring and how green the fields should be, but the reality is cold and sad.... In the video, Eleonor is represented by the Ethnic Girl of the North. She isolates herself from any kind of human contact and waits for the spring that will never come. While Eleonor knows that there is no escape from a tragic end, death (represented by the dancer) dances calmly and waits for the moment when it will take Eleonor away.
