The tornado tore off the roofs of some houses and toppled power poles and trees. Strong winds also caused damage to agricultural land. There were no reports of casualties. Repair work is currently ongoing in the affected areas. Dalaman is located in the province of Mugla, near the Mediterranean coast. The population is about 22,000 people.
