One half of Led Zeppelin, who had reunited for their ‘No Quarter’ tour, were joined by a killer post-punk band that included Porl Thompson, the former Cure guitarist who brought a dark and edgy vibe to the proceedings. The late Michael Lee, who drummed for The Cult and Echo & The Bunnymen, proved to be a worthy successor to John Bonham, pounding the skins with power and finesse.
